Poképlay makes a return!
Poképlay is back in full force! The Belgian Pokémon trainer community will be bringing both competitive play and friendly battling & trading to 1UP. Their booth will also be the location where the Super Smash Bros Ultimate Team Cup tournament will be held and more. Read on below!
Super Smash Bros Ultimate European Team Cup Qualifier
This is a unique tournament in which you and your friends can show your skills in multiple game modes. Play 1-v-1, 2-v-2 or Multismash.
Cooperation will be key to your success! And remember: no objects allowed, so you'll have to rely on skills alone
Pokémon Sword & Shield Tournament
Want to test your competitive team against other trainers? You're in luck! Poképlay will be hosting a tournament at 15:00 on both days. No online preregistration required, just walk up to their booth to get signed up.
Even if you don't have a competition-ready team yourself: there will be rental teams available. You're also free to just hang out at the booth and battle & trade with friends without entering the competition.
IMPORTANT: This is a "Bring-Your-Own-Switch" format. Also be sure to bring your charger, we'll provide the juice!

Pokémon Trading Card Game
Get familiarized with the Pokémon Trading Card game at 1UP. Experienced players will teach you the ropes on how to get started with this popular game that dates back all the way to 1996!
If you're an avid player yourself: bring your own deck and try it out against the other attending trainers.

Nintendo will have a few Switch demo-pods available at the Poképlay booth with these stellar titles playable:

- Luigi’s Mansion 3
- Ring Fit Adventure
Test your skills on the track, capture some ghosts or burn those calories in a unique fitness RPG! Time to Switch it up!
