The Belgian Game Awards - A Star-Studded Evening!

Awarding the best games of Belgium

The Belgian Game Awards ceremony happens on the 15th of February, after the 1UP Gaming Conference. The initiative is meant to give the Belgian gaming industry a welcome boost and celebrates the achievements of our local game developers. No better place than 1UP, a game event that wants to highlight all (indie) game talent from Belgium and beyond!

Our Hosts for the evening

Welcoming everybody to the stage this evening, are William Boeva and Eefje Depoortere.

William is well-known as a comedian but has also ventured into the gaming world as of late: he has his own rapidly growing Twitch channel and hosts the Ragequit videogame show.

Eefje is a world-renowned esports host, better known as Sjokz. After making Unreal Tournament unsafe for all other contestants, she went on to host the League Of Legends Championship Series. Last year she even won the Game Award for "Best Esports Host 2018".
