Robbert-Jan Brems


Robbert-Jan Brems, born in Belgium (Flanders), is a Senior Solutions Technical Artist at Unity Technologies. With 7 years of experience, Robb has worked on titles such as FIFA 18, Rise of the Tomb Raider, Thief and F1 Race Stars. He has been a speaker at SIGGRAPH and GDC San Francisco and Europe, and is known for his talk: “How breakdance taught me to be a technical artist”.

Next to working for Unity, he also support the youth dance community called Danse Bloom, where he helps with Partner Relations and advice on using Dance as an opportunity to explore subjects like Technology, Health and Education In the time he has left, he likes to learn something new every day by reading books, watching online courses and talking to random people at coffee shops. You can also find him starting a dance battle at release/Christmas parties.
